This application is designed exclusively for authorized fertilizer retailers and Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) in Uttar Pradesh. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the data you share with us as a business user.

Legal Compliance

This Privacy Policy is formulated in strict compliance with:

• The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)
• The Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act)
• The Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (SPDI Rules)

2. Retailer Data Collection

As a Retailer, we collect the following information to facilitate your business operations and maintain accountability:

• Retailer ID & Password: Unique credentials assigned by the administration for secure access.
• Mobile Number: Used for primary identification and secure login.
• Shop Name & Address: To identify the physical location of the distribution center.
• Device Information & IP Address: Automatically collected during login to ensure session security and prevent unauthorized access.

Note: No payment or financial bank details are processed directly within the application.

3. Farmer Data Processing

The Retailer App acts as a processing tool for farmer data during the fertilizer distribution cycle. When you scan a farmer's QR code or enter a token, the following data is processed:

• Farmer Identity: Name, Mobile Number, and Aadhaar (masked/verified).
• Land Records: Khatauni Number and land area (used to verify eligibility).
• Quota Details: Total eligible bags, used quota, and remaining balance.
• Booking Information: Order IDs, product types, and quantities.

4. Permissions Justification

The App requests specific device permissions to ensure operational integrity:

• Camera: Strictly used for scanning the QR Codes provided by farmers to verify their identity and bookings.
• Location: Used for geofencing and distribution verification to ensure that fertilizer distribution occurs at the authorized retail point. We do not track your location in the background.
• Network Access: Required to communicate with the central government servers for real-time stock and quota verification.

5. Data Sharing & Security

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards unauthorized data sharing:

• Government Integration: Your data is shared with relevant government departments to monitor subsidy distribution and inventory levels.
• No Commercial Sharing: We never sell or lease retailer or farmer data to private marketing agencies or third parties.
• Infrastructure: All data is hosted on secure government-monitored servers (NIC/UP Government) within India.
• Push Notifications: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) strictly for sending transactional push notifications (e.g., new booking requests). We do not use it for analytics or tracking, and we do not display notification badges.

6. User Rights & Data Retention

Your Rights

In accordance with the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to access your profile data and request corrections if any shop or contact details are inaccurate.

Retention Policy

Due to the regulated nature of subsidized fertilizer distribution:

• Audit Logs: Transaction logs and distribution records are retained indefinitely for government audits and to prevent fraudulent activities.
• Account Lifecycle: As accounts are government-certified, there is no manual "deactivation" feature within the app. Account status is managed by the departmental administration.

7. Security & Minors

We employ industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit. Our backend systems are regularly audited for security vulnerabilities.

Minors

This application is intended strictly for professional use by adult retailers. It is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
